Sandpaper and white spirits! Don't connect up with paint still on the towball.

Sandpaper and white spirits! Don't connect up with paint still on the towball.

Don't use White Sprit. It leaves an oily residue which could damage the stabiliser friction pads. Use Brake Cleaner, available from car accessory shops, always replace the towball cover after use and give the towball a squirt every time before you hitch up to remove any road grime.
