New Van - finally took the plunge

We knew when we bought our current van last year that we'd need to change it next year at the latest.

Anyway we decided to do it now so I've trawled T'internet for weeks looking at layouts and all manner of tekkie stuff so we knew what layout we liked and what models fell in our range both price and towing weight.

We gritted our teeth this weekend and decided we'd start the labourious task of tudging around forecourts , expecting that we'd take weeks , and travel to countless dealers at the far ends of the land.

Sunday we headed out just after lunch and 3 hours later returned home.......happy and broke.

We didn't get quite as much for our van as we'd hope (but it was close) and we didn't get as much off the new van as "Don't Get done , Get Dom" would have , but the whole package works for us. (and not having to spend £00s on tanks of fuel balances it out)

The dealer will swap the motormover over for £100 , which I think is a cracking deal and means we dont have to buy new again.

We've gone for an Elddis Avante Club 505 , size wise its pretty much the same as our current one , but the layout will be better having the twin louges.

Cant wait to pick it up next week and get away , luckily only have to wait till the end of the month!!
