New van - Site suggestions please!

We’re getting our caravan at the beginning of May, and would like some suggestions for sites to visit over the summer please.

We’re based in West Yorkshire, so pretty central I guess – I thought if I list what we’re looking for in a site it might help. We love Wales, Northumberland and of course the Yorkshire Dales.

Firstly – it’s a big van for me to tow (in the beginning at least) so good access for an 8’ wide van would be appreciated!

We like good quality sites, no “clubhouses”, but a good quality pub with food within walking distance would be appreciated 😊 Full Serviced pitches are always welcome, but if not then a nice clean warm toilet/shower block is a must!

Cost isn’t an issue, it’ll still be cheaper than an Airbnb! We used to love the Best of British sites so will be giving them a try again.

cl in Holton Le Heath on North York Moors. Hard pitches and EHU. Good shower and amenities plus pub five minutes away. Lots of nearby walks and places to visit

You could try Langcliffe site just outside Settle , about a a mile walk into settle, no clubhouse .

If you're ok with CAMC sites, which is my preference, then take a look at River Beamish at Powburn.

Hutton le hole, , a very popular Cl site, Just North West of Pickering, but you have to wak past a Chocolate maker to get to the pub.
The Coachman Inn, site at Snainton East of Pickering.
The Black Bull, 1.5 miles south of Pickering.

Donnewell farm a CL in Sedgefield. Good access. Easy walking distance (15 mins) into Sedgefield with lots of good eateries. Fully serviced pitches. No toilet or shower. Not picturesque but good location and value. There is road noise from the dual carriageway though.
