New Van upholstery choices.

I recently bought an upholstered chair for our bedroom and I could have it in any of about 40 fabrics, when we bought a new car there was at least 10 choices of interior fabrics/leather, so why do caravans generally only come in one or two fabrics for the season, unless you go for a handbuilt bespoke job of course, if there is a choice in home furnishings and a choice in cars why not caravans?
 
Because some years the upholstery is the biggest model year change, but some people still want the latest model.
It doesn't help that each model in a manufacturer's range usually has unique sized bedding so the batch sizes are very small.
