New window

Caravan windows are only made by about two manufacturers - any dealer can order one - to be specially made.

WARNING - it's virtually impossible to match the tint when replacing caravan windows - the originals fade with time - if you get a "correct" tint, it'll be darker than your others although it will fade in time but never catch up the originals - if you try to match to the present tint, the new one will fade faster than your others.

Try googling for caravan breaker.

Roger, caravan windows web page say they will match the tint. Apparently you send them your own window and they make a copy with identical "aged" tint.

I've never used them so cannot vouch for their service and have no idea how much they charge.

Like paint matching for cars, it only matches at the time - the new window will fade faster than the already faded existing windows.

If all else fails, you could try EECO ( exhaust ejector company)

Google eeco or www.eeco.co.uk.

They can make you a window from scratch, taking a pattern from a damaged window.I would stress that this is not a cheap option, but it can be reliable,if or when all else fails. I had to use eeco for a caravan front window and the process worked.

EECO are friendly & straightforward to deal with. Sometimes you get fed up with chasing breakers & getting no sense, which is what happened to me.

Sometimes you will find that when you have wasted hours on dead end leads, the re-manufactured option makes more sense. You could try checking ebay on the off chance.

Mike, caravanwindows.co.uk is an EECO website. Ray
