New Zealand

If considering coming to New Zealand and going to campgrounds you can find all the information you want from the New Zealand Camping Guide. This book is brilliant, see their website www.nzcamping.com They cover all the camps in New Zealand all the small ones to the large ones including the conservation camps. This is the only book that does this. Many of the camps also have accommodation available. The books (North Island and South Island) can be ordered from the above sight as an electronic download or on a flash drive or posted as a book. This book is the only one that is independently written with the writers assessment of each camp. Remember if going to NZ allow plenty of time especially in the South Island it is a beautiful place

I have to agree with Margaret, the south Island is a must I would recommend starting at Christchurch and move on, If going over for a campervan Holiday avoid Mauri,Britz and Back packer as they are the same company under different banners, and don't deliver what they promise, try KEA Campers there vans look in better condition,

A voice of experience who chose the former.

Carlton.
