Hi sorry to ask a stupid question but I am thinking of buying a caravan and when I wander round the dealers , they also sell, the tv for the caravans (12v 240v )do I need to buy a 12V television ? or I can pop down to argos and just buy a normal portable (with built in freeview for the digital age ?)

I am assuming that I can but not really sure !!!!

any one please advise

many thanks

If you are planning to stay on sites with electric then you can buy a normal television albeit on some sites they only supply a low ampage so you need to be mindful of this.

You only need a television that will work on 12 volts if you intend to use the television powered by the battery.

As with the previous post if you intend to stay on only 240v pitches then a normal one should be fine.

You could always invest in a 12volt to 240v inverter if you change your mind.
