Newbie in Bristol

Hi,

Just joined the forum and just bought our first Caravan, after many months of research !

Tow Car is Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE and the Caravan is a 2008 Lunar Quasar 615 (Twin Axle)

We've been keen campers for more years than I care to remember but with a bit more security needed for two and half year old and us liking our home comforts more we've decided to get a caravan. I'm an experienced tower reguarly towing a car transporter trailer with Rally Car (Mk1 Escort normally) but I'm sure the handling will be very different and more exposed to wind etc.

Not sure if you may be looking for a good storage site in Bristol for your caravan,but there is a good one at Hallen.

Ive been using it for about 18 months now.

Im not connected in any way with this storage facility,but thought if you were looking for one,this may be of help.

Thanks for the comments, we finally picked up teh Van on Friday staying a night in it from the place where we've purchased it (Northam Farm, Brean). And we are very pleased with the Caravan (our little boy almost 3yrs was extremely excited!) and the Service!

We are using Storage King/Alligator Storage in the end for 3 months as it's close to home and will then look for a "cheaper" winter storage - even maybe back to Northam Farm as they can then service it at the start of next season.

Congratulations on your new caravan, we are regular visitors to Somerset, especially Brean and Birmingam on Sea (Burnham) and always enjoy the holiday atmosphere and the families enjoying themselves.
