Hi all, We had a static caravan for 2 years and really liked the experience, we bought for £29,000 but got only £14,000 when we had to sell due to prolonged and serious ill health.....a big loss!!!

Thankfully I'm better now and am thinking about buying a nice 4 berth tourer for around the £12,000 (probably a bailey 560GT). I don't see myself moving from site to site very often and was wondering is it normal or even possible if you see a good caravan park to negotiate a deal where I could park the van for the whole (6 months?) season and us it as I need, say 2-3 weeks and 10ish weekends.

Any ideas on approximate costs, I realise each site has different rates so just after a idea to begin my pondering.....many thanks in advance for any help offered.....George

We have just sited our van at Widend near Paignton from April to October for
