Devonboy

Although a newbie to this forum the wife and I have been caravanning for several years, first with a Freedom Jetstream which we loved, had all the kit, full oven fridge cassette loo then had an Abbey Stafford for about 8 years. We sold that and went Motorcycling touring for a few years. And now after a career change My work schedule allows us to get away every month for at least 4 days so we came back to caravanning with an Abbey Iona ( trying to replicate the freedom) but have now changed to a Bailey Pageant Bordeaux which we are itching to start going away in.
 
Welcome to the forum 'devonboy' . We went looking for a second car for me and ended up with our caravan instead , no regrets and still loving it , enjoy .
 
Wecome , Devonboy, I am a fairly newby myself, great threads, beware the Woosie's at times. They are great though. Nice to know about cl's / cs around your area.

couple of things in common here, I had a abbey stafford for about 4 years before my current van
And I'm a Devon boy as well 🙂

Only bought the Pageant after calling into Highbridge on the way home from Brecon.

We had a Pageant Vendee for three years. Lovely upmarket caravan.

Yes, very experienced, but often learnt the hard way. :S You too could be a Woosie if you publicly admit to something stupid that you have done, preferably caravan related but not necessarily. :woohoo: 😗 You then need to be nominated, seconded and then knighted by his royal Woosieness. (To keep things together make your declaration of stupidity on the Woosie thread.) 😉
 
WC, that you for letting me know , how declare my self as being, a prize plonker to your highly esteemed round table, but I am sure my slight descrepencies are not worthy of your consideration, blocking french paeages, ( twice) pitching up at the wrong cl sites at Dover, getting to Dover to find I have the wrong wallet, back to MK, and back to Dover. I shall stay a mere cretin, until ready to tell my full incompetence on the Woosie sites.

Must be a really bad one and by not telling us surely he's more Woosie than the most dedicated of us Woosies. Obviously in a league above us 😗
