newbies to the caravan world.

my husband and I have recently bought a swift conqueror 2016..(Were in NZ)
we are having hassles getting the Alde heat system to work on gas.
240 volt is no problem.we're a bit technologically challenged I think ...
learning all the switches and control panels are confusing...Anybody explain it for us. The manual seems to contradict things as we have 2given to us that are differing explanations

Assuming you have the Alde control panel lit up, press Menu. Set the desired temperature. Then press ON by the Gas flame symbol. You can press OFF by the Electricity symbol, if you only wish to use gas, but it is ok to have both on at the same time for a quicker warm up.

However, you will need to set the clock, and check if a night time temp has been set, as this is typically 16C, since this will not allow the boiler to call for heat if the temp is higher than 16C and the clock is wrong
