hI - Im just about to buy a Sterling Eccles Explorer 4 berth twin axle- what are these caravans like?

also Im hoping to to with a new audi a4 130 bhp- will this be alright?

Think your going to be marginal with the A4, plenty of power but perhaps not enough weight for emergency manoeuvers.
 
I presume you are talking about the 130hp 2.0 litre petrol Audi A4 in which case the maximum permissible towload is 1300kg. This is way short of the maximum laden weight of a Sterling Eccles Explorer. In fact, it's even lower than its weight when empty, so it would be an illegal combination.
