newcastle to edinburgh

hi all

whats the best route to tow up to edinburgh. is the A68 ok to tow on or is it best to stick to the A1. car a little underpowered to van I think

I would chose the A1 but watch for the many speed cameras and police cars but from what you say speeding may not be an issue.Mainly where there are hills (not that many) there are overtaking lanes so you should not cause too much of a hold up.

Both routes are fine for towing, but we tend to always choose the A1
