Nikki New Guys

Hiya, Well, we've been camping for as long as I can remember, been through various different tentage. This year, with the lovely British weather, we have managed to have 2 tents ruined by wind and rain (good old Anglessey). So we decided it was time to progress from Dome tent and trailer tent to a caravan. I really didn't think we every would be needs must. We follow the Scooter (Vespa/Lambretta) Racing around the country with our team Total Coventry Racing, and regularly have very little or no where to put up a tent, now we have a lovely warn snug caravan to stay in. Perfect, roll on the 2009 season.

In practice for this we have spent a weekend in Kingsbury and are off to Conkers, Derbyshire this weekend, can't wait. We're ready whatever the weather.

Rgds to everyone out there,

Jacky

Hello Jackie

Sorry to hear about your tent troubles but its an ill wind that blows nobody any good and it has led you into becoming a caravanner, welcome.

Enjoy your weekend at Conkers.

Hi Jacky

We were the same as you, and several of our friends have changed to a caravan this year. You wont look back and you can use your van all year round, we use ours 12 months of the year! We have booked for 26th Dec (yes we are mad!), seriously, why put your van away in winter when you can go to some lovely sites with facilties? I would never go back to tenting now, even though it does have its advanatges. Caravanning is expensive and not a cheap option anymore but we love it and so do our two young children. Enjoy!!
