Hi, have just purchase a 1998 LWB 7 seater to replace 1997 2.8 V6 Galaxy Auto, Nissan is a Manual, anyone have any experience of towing with a Terrano ? Have i made a wise swap ?
I had a Nissan terrano for over 3 years ,allthough its got a 2.7 engine it only puts out 125 BHP and only 205 lb/ft of torque ,with a kerb weight of 1860 kg ,its very steady towing even at over 70 MPH,but at 90,000 miles i had trouble with the fuel pump wich cost over
i have the 3door terrano 2.7 diesel manual & tow a twin
axle with no problem . would advise buying a spacer bracket for towbar & you will probibly have to hitch up with backdoor open as the spare wheel gets in the way.
