After reading the revue of the new XT diesel auto in the latest mag I would like to correct a couple of points
The mag states that an 85% match is 1473kg
That may be so but Nissan put a max tow limit on the auto of 1350kg with a nose weight of 75kg as against 2000kg for the 150bhp ans 2200kg for the 173 bhp
The 1500 manual which I own has plenty of torque to pull our 1560 kg max Ace Award and I feel no need for the extrs bhp so people shouldn't be put off by a test in an auto that may well have been with a van over the max weight Nissan allow for the auto
The 150bhp is also better on mpg than the undoubtedly fine 173bhp and it is also in a lower tax band with less CO2 emission
Hope that gives a better picture to anyone considering purchasing any of the above vehicles
