Nissan X-trail

I have an 09 2.0 173 which realy pulls a dream. I was advised to drive with the drive selector in auto and not 2wd. This returns about 4 mpg more than with it in 2wd, and of course gives much better traction.

I do find towing my challenger 530 that it feels unstable when a lorry or coach overtakes a problem i never had with my previous cars, Renault Espace. Has any one any experinece of this

yes i have the same car, my previous xtrail was very stable, i used 85kg nose weight with it.

When i used the same nw with the new model, i was getting twitching from passing vehicles, not just lorries.

I now use 90kg plus on the nw, stability has improved.
