Sounds like your leisure battery might be shot or one of its connections is poor. Plugging into the EHU bollard will power the 12 volt system from the caravan 12 volt charging system.

.......the most likely cause is the 20 amp main battery fuse which is notoriously difficult to find.
Hutch has already mentioned this fuse.
This is a single fuse placed in the positive wire that leads from the back of the battery box to a control unit. Normally this fuse is under one of the front seats.
Find where the wire leaves the battery box and follow it to find the fuse.

Probably a silly question. Have you switched on the 12V? The battery is probably Yusua and normally very reliable.

Did you use the automatic levelling system upon arrival? Is it now switched off?
Is the 12v master switch on?Im not sure how yours is wired as it is odd it works direct off the charger when on EHU.
The battery connections and condition are still my favourite. Following on from Hutch and Bill trace both the -ve and +ve cables and connections and fuses all the way from the battery to the Consumer Unit.

The automatic levelling does not need the 12v switch to be on. I think it is totally independent of the 12v system in the caravan, but if the levelling worked then battery should be okay?

This is beginning to sound like a fault in the 12V control panel. Have you checked to see if the wires from the battery are properly connected to the back of the control panel? Or indeed are the battery terminals tight?

Try disconnecting the caravan from the mains hook up, and using the multimeter check the voltage on the battery terminals. make a note of it. The reconnect the mains hook up, and set the controls so the built in charger should be recharging the battery, and the remeasure the battery's terminal voltage. If the battery is connected you should see the terminal voltage increase when the charger is running.

yes switched the main switch on, but still no power thanks.
When you say the main switch, is that the one under the front offside bunk. As you enter the caravan on the left and below the ALDE screen there is a bank of switches. One is 12v switch which needs to be on, then all interior lights, then switches for both the awning light and the offside light.

Glc, I forgot to say Welcome, although you have checked the battery voltage, and fuses, as a double check , remove both battery terminals and clean them, then replace.
Then it is a case of wiring check through to the PSU. To ensure all wirieng connections are secure.
Remote diagnosis is never very easy, good luck

There is a possibility that the battery terminals are not tight enough creating arcing leading to poor contact. Ask me how I know.

yes it is thanks
We have a 2018 Buccaneer Cruiser and the two caravans are very similar.

I am very surprised that a professional was unable to diagnose the fault. Was he AWS approved? The electrics in a caravan is quite simple if using a multi meter.

The bank of switches by the door that I mentioned earlier on needs to be checked. Prise off the outside cover gently using a cloth to prevent damaging the veneer. Then remove the 12v switch and check if there is 12v to the switch.

Did you buy privately or from a dealer?
