Colin you are forgiven,it must be your day for apologies!Earlier in this thread you will get some of the background,my ancestor and indeed namesake Sir Anthony was hung drawn and quartered at the tower of London in 1586 for plotting with others to remove Elizabeth 1st from the throne and replace her with Mary Queen of Scots, the plot is named after my ancestor as the Babington plot if you put that into google you will get chapter and verse. It was this failed plot that gave rise to the Spanish Armada two years later in 1588 when the King of spain wished to avenge the death of Mary following her execution at Fotherighay Castle.Sir Anthony's home is still there albeit smaller and is a caravan club cl nd is owned by Simon Groom the ex Blue Peter presenter(the one who had Goldie the dog). Here ends my boring history lesson.

History is never boring - from the past we can learn for the future. You have still not informed me of your elevated title so that we can address you in the manner in which you are accustomed.

Sir Anthony, maybe it was because we wore silly hats that my ancestors kept their heads! Perhaps it's as well your lot were plotting down south instead of up north or you and I might have been related!!
