No Running Water.

Hi Folks, I have a 2006 Sprite Quattro, (the 6 berth, not the fixed bed model)
My brother and his family are currently living in it for 3 weeks while their new house gets a damp proof course and new windows fitted.
When I set it up for him yesterday we couldn't get the water to work, there is a switch for the pump in the control panel next to the door, when I turned this on the light next to it didn't light up as it should, so I believe it to be a fault in the switch, or feed to the switch. There are three circuit breakers in the control panel, but none of these had tripped.
My brother took the pump with him to a caravan dealer today and they tested it for him and it is fine, so it is not getting power, are there any other fuses anywhere else?
I am about 90 miles from where he is staying, so can't go and fiddle around with it to try and find the problem, so will have to try and find a solution and tell him over the phone.
Many thanks in advance,
Jim.

The pump will be protected by a 12v fuse on the 12v distribution panel.
The circuit breakers will be for 230v .

He needs to find the 12v fuses and check the one for the pump.

Normally they are under one of the bench seats near the battery box. Or located in the wardrobe in some vans.

Just a thought,,,,,is the van water system on microswitches or pressure switch ?

If it is a pressure switch system it may be just the switch needs adjusting.
If it is a pressure switch it will be located inside the van where the water inlet is and be a white oblong unit with an adjusting wheel on the top.

yes its a micro switch had this on a 2006 sprite lucky i re located the pump in the side off van the on that gose in the water butt a dodgey pin in the plug and also disconected the battery as i allways do and this re stored the water .It may be a fluke but worked if not try the micro switches (battery was reconected).
