Noisy inline charger.

Does anyone know why the inline charger in my friends van, a Bailey Pageant Champagne, year 204, is so loud. it's driveing him mad.! is there anything he can do.?? could it be the Fan? if so, would spraying with WD40 do the trick.? any suggestion would be heplful. Many Thanks.

The best answer is to get someone who knows about these chargers to look at it.

DO NOT go spraying WD40 or anything else around an electronic item.

Thanks Damian. I'll have a word with him & suggest he does that. The noise is fairly loud, it would drive me mad too. do you think it's a common fault on this year manufacture ?

If it is actually the fan, then there is not a lot that can be done. They tend to be noisy.

However, if the noise is coming from the transformer and electronics inside the unit, there is something wrong, they should be silent.
