non fluid loo chemicals

any one used these powders or tablets instead of liquids yet, i thought less weight and less to slop, or stain fingers, and floors

Yes Jayne we use Kemdirect toilet granuals and as you said they are less weight, no staining or spilling. They are also easy to use and break everything down with no smell.

I have not used powders or tablets, but did try once the Blue sachets that are available. Did not find them a success as the wrapping does not dissolve as it is supposed to. Also the mixture is very strong, possibly as they have concentrated the fluid inside.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I went back to the old method of using fluid bought in French supermarkets as it is the nicest smell and seems to be very efficient.

We worked out the costings and pence for pence it was no diffferent especially if you used the required amount of fluid that it states.

If it did work out slightly more expensive then the benefits of kemdirect granular outweigh any slight increase in costs if in fact there are any.

I cannot speak for the sachets mentioned by Scotch Lad and any other product as they are completely different products.
