Hi Jo

Thanks for starting this topic.

We are going to Damage Barton in Woolacombe in August which I think is North Devon, so would be good to hear other peoples opinions too. I am not sure whether it has easy access.

Try watermouth cove, which is about 5 miles from Ilfracoombe. Access to the site is drectly off the Coombe Martin to Ilfracoombe road. Coombe Martin is a bit tight, so you might want to come in from the Ilfracoombe side if you are not confident with your van.

The site is well laid out and has its own cove where folks can bathe and fish etc.

Can be a bit pricey but if you are looking for a site you don't need to leave to find beach activity, hill walking and fishing, then it is value for money.

Regards,

Steve L.

Talk about pricey, in 1983 they did me a tenner and 2 quid for the dog for one night and no awning, in them days CC no more than 4 quid a night with Awning mind you it was August, hate to think what it is now.

over 30 quid for my lot and then i lost count lol
Jo-Anne sounds about right even after 20 years its still steep, don't feel the site is worth that much even though it has it's own private beach, from what l can remember of it could onl fit a dozen or more on.
