Morthoe near Woolacombe. This site is well away from the busy areas. I've been out of the main season and it realy is very nice.

Bit of fishing if that takes your fancy, some very large pitches face the lake.

Some good walks direct from the site to the coast path.

Fish and chip shop in Morthoe as well as some good pubs and restaurants.

Easy access to Ilfacombe

This is a very small site directly on top of the quiet end of Woolacombe. I had a look around and a bit of a chat to some regular users.

Big draw back is access as you need to tow through the picturesque village of Georgeham which was built for pony and trap not 4wd and monster Caravan.

I was recommended to arrive at night and sleep for a few hrs in the beach car park.

Early booking is recommended at both sites.

Best of luck
