Norway / Sweden information request

I know I'm starting early, but thinking about people who may have just returned. I am planning to have an extended trip to Norway and Sweden next summer (July / August). I would like to go up to Nordkapp if possible. Has anyone any suggestions on things to see, sites, ferries, sources of information, costs or anything ealse relevent? I will be grateful for any help.

The fjord country in south west Norway is the prettiest and really worth seeing. There really isn't much point in going to the Nordkapp. Beyond the Arctic Circle the journey becomes very boring and it's still another 1000km from there.
