Nose weight of Cadiz

A higher nose weight is better for a comfortable tow so about 70-80 kg could be about correct. Manufacturers recommend that nose weight is about 5-7% of the MTPLM. The Cadiz has a MTPLM of about 1490kg.

I first caravan I towed was a rental that owners made very nose heavy by adding rocks and old battery. Found this out after returning it . Was a dog to tow I had to slow down for any bridge as small joins caused pitching that almost bottomed out cars rear suspension.
Caravans I've owned since which have lot less nose weight and are breeze to tow by comparsion.

I don’t know whether time favours more positive memories but subjectively I felt that the old Bulldog lever arm stabiliser did a better job than the Alko hitch stabilisers.

Yes! It flexed your muscles. 😌 If I could just lift the hitch onto the caravan the nose weight was ok🙉.The Scott ,always added a few pounds foot of torque to the friction damper assembly😎
