Just got back from a weekend away near Oxford with 5 fellow caravaners, I was last to arrive and when I came to plug into the EHU there were no empty sockets so I went to reception and what had happened was a van on a non electric pitch had plugged in as he thought that having free EHU was not a problem.
On Saturday we all went out for the day, however I came back early and saw them quickly come and remove their mains cable and replug in one they had removed,we had been out for three hours.
They obviously do this on a regular basis but someones van was unplugged for three hours ,so their fridge would be off and if they had their dinner in a slow cooker for their return then they would have a suprise.
Has anyone else come across this I have not in 37 years of caravanning.
