Hi All - I am not a new member having been a member on this forum for over 8 years, however I have been absent from it now for a few years so here I am once again back to forum life. There were quite a few friends I mage on here previously - those which spring to mind being Lord Brakewynd, Plotterm Mrs. Mop & Bucket Parksy, etc.

About myself - I have been retired for almost nine years (not that old - took early retirment through ill health). All that is now behind me although I am now waiting to go into hospital for operation for skin cancer - BCC whatever that is. We sold our caravan approx. 3 years ago and after a year without anything we have once again bought a mobile home - 1997 Swift Royale, as my wife says it is cheap and chearful. Not much use this year as waiting to hear about op. Once this is over with we should be back out on the Queen's highway again.

I hope all members of this forum be they old codgers like myself or new recruits are all and well and that a good summer touring was had,

Regards

Colin

Hello Colin
It's lovely to welcome you back into the fold, I knew that you wouldn't pack in the touring permanently

I'm sorry to learn about the skin cancer and trust that you will be fit and well and ready to use your Swift quite soon, and in the meantime you can always pass a bit of time reading through the forum and adding snippets here and there whenever you feel like it.
Lord B and Plotter still look in occasionally, I'll let them know that you're back amongst us after first making sure that Lord B hasn't got his bow and arrows with him

Welcome back Colin,,'

Life without the ally box behind wouldn't be the same.

There's still time to join us at the Woosie event near Buxton next month.

Well lookee who it ain't, Colyn ap Brydgynd.
I hope your problem gets sorted soon because it's not a done thing firing arrows at someone who is unwell.
Thanks for your emails. I've got about 400 to sort out but with Her Ladyships illness they've had to be put on hold.
