Can anyone tell me how to go about finding someones will? The only details available are the year and town of death.

Hi supergranne.
I just typed "Locating Will" into "google" and found quite a few results which may help you.

If you know the surname, date of death, (year) will also work but takes longer, visit a Probate Office. They have part paper and part computer records you can consult. A person's Will that didn't require Probate wont be there.
