Transporter

I just bought a 2006 Swift Charisma 540 which I'll be towing with a VW Transporter 2.5 diesel.

The last time I tried towing a caravan was about 20 years ago, and it was a hired Knaus 5-berth with a VW Passat 1.7 petrol. That wasn't much fun. With the Transporter you'd hardly know you were towing anything.

Any and all tips and advice are extremely welcome. You can assume that I know nothing (∏Manuel).
 
hi transporter, im a novice myself and also from Wales, been out on about 5 trips since having the van in january. one to the lake district, off to france in two weeks but really enjoying , every trip, youll forget to do one thing , but i'mgetting there , happy caravaning . brian
