NR Sun Canopy

Hi Everyone

Has anyone got an NR Sun Canopy. We are thinking of getting one to use as a sun canopy / rain shelter whilst we are touring as a compromise between putting up an awning (full or porch) or having nothing. Are they any good / well made ?

Don't have an NR sun canopy - ours is made by Dorema, I think. We use it when we're abroad to save carrying a full awning which we don't need in warmer climes. Our canopy takes about 10 minutes to erect and dismantle and it is supported by 3 poles and guys and works very well, although it needs to well pegged down in strong winds. We've had to take it down a couple of times in the 6 or 7 years we've used it due to windy conditions. NR awnings generally have a good reputation, so I doubt you'd have any quality issues.

We bought the NR sun canopy abt 3yrs ago. Good quality with ample guide ropes and 3 poles, u do need to take it down in high winds but well worth the job. Used it about half a dozen times. Unfortunately we,ve not had the weather in England to use it to its best ability.
