Tony,

There are no rules regarding the naming of dealers/manufactures/spares outlets etc, as long as this is in praise of the relevant company.

Forum Etiquette No:4 states:-

You may not transmit complaints about named companies or caravan parks. Such individual issues should be taken up with the compant direct.

This is not everybodies cup of tea, but rules are rules and therefore must be abided by.

If somebody has had a pleasant relationship with the companies you have named, I am sure they will reply in due course,

best regards, Martin

The rule is in place mainly to protect Haymarket from any possibility of legal action and also because in complaints we have no way to check the facts.

However....

We are a caravan forum and the forum is for the exchange of information.

If someone has had good service fine, no problem fire away.

If one of our members hasn't had good service as long as they don't go into detail we still want to know about it.

For example - 'I bought a caravan from 'Joe Soap' the caravan dealers and I wouldn't go back there.'

Any further details could then be exchanged off the forum via email to the member asking the question. Either that or disguise the name slightly or give the general area where the company operates without using any names.
