Which ones? Isabella do a vast range from plastic to steel ,to the 18” steel storm pegs.

There seems to be a great variance with hard standings. I’ve had some where the screw pegs bent. Those that went it were a devil to remove!

On the metered EHU the last two weeks have cost us £5-6 per 24 hours. The heating has been on low overnight and 2 kw when we are in. The Water heater charger fridge etc haven’t used very much.
A 6 kg propane refill is now £32. May be gas is more expensive 🤔🤔
I think ProfJohn did a comparison a while back that based on prices at the time gas was more expensive than metered electric. Electric is efficient as most if not all of the energy goes in to heating. Whereas with gas it’s less efficient given burners have to transfer heat indirectly and will loose heat via exhausts too.

I think that is still the case. Whilst it seems Electricity bills have risen a 6 kg propane has gone up by circa £8 in the last 12 months.
We had the heating full on quite a lot over the two weeks. Zero degrees most mornings . 500 watts on all night. We were never cold and our daily charge on the meter, on line payments, was very reasonable imo.

Well that was an interesting night!!!
Very strong winds until around 3 am with some powerful gusts but the awning held fast with just a couple of smaller pegs working loose on the front left panel and I got up to swap them for bigger ones around 1.45 am.
I have to say I am impressed with the awning.
It’s now raining but we are all dry and safe inside the caravan.
Lily wasn’t bothered not bothered by the noise or movement caused by the wind at all .

We live about 15 miles from Cartref and Yes, it was very windy last night! The trees are all still standing, but rocked my caravan about whilst parked on the drive and made me a bit concerned about our departure for Brittany today. But all quite still now.
You said it was raining - but must have been a short shower. Lovely and sunny here.

Just stopped raining here now.
Have a safe trip to Brittany - we are thinking of going to France as well at some point but would really like to speak to someone who has been before to get some tips about it all.

Living in a town, family live on opposite sides of this with only fifteen minutes in a car, but we can experience a micro climate where one side can be sunny and the other having a cloud burst at the same time.

That’s not a microclimate, it is just weather moving through the area.
