Off to Brean

Well,getting ready for probably our last trip out in the van tomorrow.(Apart from taking it back to Chipping Sodbury Caravans on the following Monday to have the shower cubicle repaired).
Going down to Brean(Channel View) for 7 nights.
Cuz the wife is working tomorrow night,im going down tomorrrow to get all set up,then on Monday,pop back and pick her and the two dogs up.
Mmmm......a whole evening to myself and being in control of the remote control and popping down the local take away for that lovely indian

Dont think the forecast is too good for the next couple of days but its going to be great to have a break from work and relax with the great view of the beach from the van.
Country and Western down there too........thats a great experience to see also.

We stayed at Warren Farm in June and enjoyed it except the over priced take aways. Cheaper and betetr to have a meal in a restaurant! Have a good holiday.

Be sure to go right to the end of the road and climb up the steps(about 100+) to Brean Down.Walk out to the point to the gun emplacements and the fort.Well worth seeing and good exercise.I think the cafe at the bottom of the steps is still open.

Arrived about 1 this afternoon.
After sorting the van out(water,electrics,waste etc...)it was time to put the awning up.
Its a Kampa Ralley 390 so not too difficult..........apart from the wind that is

After about 2 hours(including getting the wheel cover,awning skirt,awning carpet and making sure its "doggy escape proof",its up and a well earned cuppa.
Tides coming in right now and its still quite windy but im sure the awning will be ok.
Yep, weve walked up the hill at the end many times with the dogs and its well worth the climb to admire the views all around.
Have a nice peaceful evening tonight as im going back for the wife and dogs tomorrow morning(only about 20 miles away).
Shame she has to work tonight,but the peace and quiet is lovely

Well,I think the weather is uppose to improve as the week goes on so we con get down on the beach with the dogs and give them a good run with the ball.
