What do you think about the idea of members being able to offer or request items at no charge, similar to the Freecycle website? I have previously read on this site that there is no possibility of a new dedicated forum being created so if it considered to be of interest where should the posts be sited?

We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.

Free offers, show tickets etc have been posted from time to time but unfortunately there is no possibility of this becoming a regular forum feature for a number of reasons, administration being but one.
When a member has something to give away they add a post to the relevant section, General or Equipment & Accessories. The first member to reply to the post is the one who claims the free item after the moderators have forwarded the email address.
