Offside lower awning rail

Hi just been gazing at our beautiful new caravan, have bought loads of new bit for it, including some velcro straps that slide into awning rail, to keep grey water and electric cable tidy, however there is no access point slide any thing into the offside lower rail any ideas how to open the rail up please.

Yes I know there should be however there is NOT and I don't need to go the Specsavers to see that. Thank you .....

There is a special tool that will open the awning rail. I understand that the tool is stupidly expensive but just a two minute job. Give your dealership a ring and get them to do it. If you bought it privately find an AWS technician who can come and do it for you. Don’t try and bodge it yourself with a screwdriver

I've got what you mention I think,it's similar looking to what would call a "dogs bone" it is a stainless steel bar with a 6mm ball shape on one end and a 8mm ball on the opposite end,the idea being if the rail has suffered damage it can be restored to its original dimension/section by inserting the corresponding end into the rail opening

Sounds like a new caravan. Take it back to the dealership you bought it from and they should be able to rectify it for you in a matter of minutes.
