I was up until 1:00am last night with the lounge window and curtains open. Sometime between the hours of 1:00 am and 7:30am some thieving scumbag came onto my property and stole the patio chairs. Fair enough they were not new and they were white plastic therefore not expensive. There was also a new, still in its polythene wrap, six seater table from Lidl's which they did not take. I just hope the chairs collapse under their weight and they break their b****y necks.

Dog didn't hear a thing - dumb animal LOL

Not nice! It's awful when you have things stolen, no matter what the value is. It's unbelievable how 'cheeky' thieves are these days. Our neighbour had one of those large picnic tables which has attached benches stolen last week - and it's a huge hefty thing. They must have come and got it in a van.

Eighteen months ago someone got in through our patio door, and stole two mobile phones, two sets of house and car keys, and my handbag. Fortunately the dog did disturb them, she barked (we heard her, but sometimes she barked whilst dreaming so we didn't take any notice) and they obviously scarpered. They emptied my bag of anything valuable, and dumped it on the footpath which runs down at the end of the road. A neighbour out walking his dog found it at 6.30 so I was able to cancel all my cards early in the morning. I discovered later that my Boots loyalty card had been emptied of it's points at 10.05 in the morning about twenty miles away, so I'd guess they were intending to have a spree with the other cards in the retail park, expecting that we wouldn't be up and have noticed the loss. The value of what was stolen wasn't much, but it cost us two sets of new coded keys and locks for the car, and five new locks for the doors in the house!!

When we came back from our May holiday we had a bag of dirty washing stolen as we were unloading the car, so in the space of two minutes, someone had nicked it. We still haven't identified all that was in it, but the duvet cover, OH's best linen shirt, and my favourite jeans all were. I rather hope the remainder was grubby socks and pants! The only thing was that it also contained three of my silver chokers, and five or six pendants - which I'd put in there so they wouldn't get bent, knowing that I'd be unpacking the dirty washing first!

I sympathise and if you get lots of 12 Bores offered, then pass the spare on to me!

Well Colin

I can hardly believe this.

I awoke at 2am to the sound of the dog barking like mad and furiously scratching at the back door.

I ran downstairs and let him out, he flew up the garden and then did a thorough search. I couldn'd see anyone. He then came back in.

This morning, my husband said someone had pulled the handle off the back gate and forced open the locks.

Looks like doggy scared them off.

We had 2 crates of milk [ 32 pints] stolen from the gates at our local village primary school where hubby is caretaker yesterday. Milkman said he left it at about 5am, by 6.30 when OH got there they were gone! I know its only milk but still annoying. Just can't believe some people can you.
