Hi, it is very sad the way things are going, fuel keeps rising and so does the price of food and everything else we buy, it is all having a knock on effect.

When the dipstick in 11 downing street sets his budget it's based partly on income from fuel revenues. Every time the fuel price then goes up something like 60% of the 2 or 3 p increase goes to number elevens piggy bank.

I wish somebody would tell me where all that extra money goes.

As UK motorists we still get hammered at the next budget as well.

it relly has got too expensive to tow, i last towed last july when it was 93p, but now it's 108.9p i can nolonger afford to tow, i just got a newer caravan last yearbut now it must just sit in the driveway because it too expensive and a total RIPOFF to tow now, it's cheaper to either go by coach or camp. Becuase even the euro's not at a good price. WE LIVE IN RIPOFF BRITAIN AND THE ONLY ONES WHO DON'T LOOSE OUT ARE POLITICIANS
Andrew, I agree with you and others, we are being ripped off for fuel but don't let it stop you caravanning. The prices that you quote, 93p and 108.9 represent an increase of 17%. If you go to a caravan site 17% nearer than usual the cost of caravanning will remain the same. How many of us drive to the other side of the country and miss what is almost on our doorstep.

If you want to make your eyes water, look on the web at the price of diesel in the rest of Europe, (AA Roadwatch European Petrol Prices - shows diesel as well),
