At 41micrograms/100 millilitres he was only just over the 35 limit - however, a driver will not be prosecuted under section 5 with a breath alcohol level under 40 micrograms, in accordance with the guidelines contained in Home Office circular

From the article re his recollections of what he drank there are three different variations of beer and wine. But hes an idiot especially nowadays when there are some good LA beers, stouts, ciders and lagers. LA wines can be a mixed feast.

On Christmas day we will be over at daughter's for dinner. prior to dinner I will have a glass of port and with dinner a Zero Guinness or two, then coffee. Although they are only 4 miles from us on a rural road, I will not take the chance.

One may be driving okay after a beer or three, but then another idiot collides with you due to no fault of your own and you are also in trouble.
