do the hyrundai terracan diesel auto or the kia sorento auto diesel need a oil cooler fitted, i need to upgrade for new van, and i now need a auto box as i am disabled, the van max weigh is 1340 kgs thanks

In view of the fact that the Kia Sorento is approved to tow at least 2300kg and the Hyundai Terracan even more, I hardly think that an oil cooler would be necessary for towing a 1340kg caravan.

mike have spoken to both local dealers of kia & hyundi

and the both say the models you mention have coolers fitted

have gone for the terracan as the dealer is close to me and they given me a good deal on new car and the best price for my mondeo, thanks for the feed back,

I own a Terracsn Auto and Tow a 1400KG van with no problems at all. Prior to my purchase I obtained a letter from Hyundai that an an oil cooler is not necessary. After 6 months of towing the temprature gauge is steady each time I use the car and tow.
