Hi Folks

Not a new member, but not been able to be on foe a long time

We lost our caravan in the gales last week.

Although she was only a 1983 compass, we have looked after her well (and she looked after us!)

We are looking for another 'van now and considering buying a

5 berth swift challenger, could anyone advise us please as

we have no experience of these vans

any comments good or bad are welcome.

Thank you

Hi Hamish, sorry to hear you lost your caravan in the gales last week. We do become attached to our caravans, even more so if we've had endless happy holidays in them.

Glad to hear you are now considering buying a Swift Challenger. We ordered a Challenger in November and should get it early in March.

Great caravans from a great company. Swiftgroup now post on this forum and the technical team genuinely do seem to care if any of it's customers has a problem and does it's utmost to sort things out or answer queries.

We bought a new swift challenger last year. It is a 5 berth. It is our first van so we have nothing to compare it to, previously we had a motor home. We are very pleased with it apart from two minor moans. One is no lock on the bathroom door, the other is that it is a bit tight for space around the loo. Otherwise excellent quality, no problems with build. We like the flexibility of the double dinette layout as sometimes there are just two of us but mostly at least three, four or five.

Hi Folks

Thank you for your replies and comments about

the swift challenger. T present we are unable to

buy a new one, but looking for a good 2nd hand one.

Will also look at other 5 berth vans too. going to see

a Mardon Classique tomorrow. This is one we have never

heard of before, but layout very much like the challengers

Anyone else heard of the Mardon?

Thank you again or your replies

Cheers
