Have booked for the Whitsun weekend - we hear the Lady Warden is a bit of an eccentric!!!

Is she really that bad?

Hi, we booked for Easter at Oldbury Hill. Unfortunately we had a call from the male warden the night before our stay was due to start, to say that the pitches were waterlogged and he had to cancel us. Because it is on a hill, it was proving difficult to get vans on to chocks because of how muddy it was. He was very pleasant, don't know about the woman! I hope it dries out for you- maybe ring a few days beforehand. We've had a lot of rain recently here. It is also accessed via a single track road, so can be a bit interesting!
