older vans

As some of you will know I use an elderly classic outfit,ie, a 1993 Range Rover and a 1979 Royale Rangemaster caravan.
The RR is a rather special LSE model, which means it is eight inches longer than a standard Classic, and has an extra 25 bhp,and air suspension, all of which makes it a truly excellent towcar.
The caravan is a one-off. Whilst there were around 1200 Royale vans built between 1970 and 1981, there is only one Rangemaster, custom built for its original owner.
The purpose of the post is simply to find out if there any others using older outfits on a regular basis.
Mine is used extensively in this country, and also on a 2/3 month tour of Europe every year, which takes in the ECCR, the European Classic Caravan Rally, held in a different country each year. This year is a nice trip to north Belgium, only about three hours from the ferries.
ECCR is always a lovely weekend, with around 150/200 classic vans from all over Europe attending, so if you have a pre 1980 caravan and fancy something different, then please reply to this post.

It would be nice to see some pictures guys, modern caravans have started to look a bit samey so a few pictures which show the character and identifying features such as lantern roofs or different colours would be great.

Keep at it Trevor. Pity its too young for ECCR.
Parksy, it's as much as I can manage to put words on here, never mind pictures!
Herself is more computer literate than me, so I'll ask her for help.
There was a pic of my outfit in PC mag two years ago, when I won star letter.

Community Editor Stacie is always on the lookout for pictures which can be included in the photo section of Practical Caravan magazine so it's well worth posting yours, because forum pictures are often used. You are always in with a chance of winning the Star Picture, I won a set of Millenco Grand Aero towing mirrors last year :)

Think I've found the forum section for me! For our sins, we're classic caravan hoarders. At the minute we have the following:
1948 Safari Minor
1957 Sprite Alpine T
1958 Bluebird Cambrian
1958 Sprite Alpine T (restored)
1960 Sprite 400
1962 Sprite Musketeer
1963 Sprite Alpine S (restored)
1964 Sprite 400 (restored)
1967 Safari 15/4 (restored)
1967 Regency Balmoral (restored)
1972 Safari 17/2 (restored)
1975 Safari 17/4S
slowly working our way through the list to make sure they're all returned to their original condition. We holiday all year round when we can, attending classic caravan rallies most weekends but during the winter do visit sites. We're heading off to Evesham next weekend with our 1967 Safari 15/4 and 1975 Triumph 2500S Estate!

I want to restore the caravan as it was received from the manufacturer. I just want to delete what was done by the previous owner, but I do not want restoration. As an example, these are lamps. Each lamp should remain externally as it was, but modern details will appear on the inside. I need any photos that will help my goal. Elddis Whirlwind model.

You might try googling the model and see if there are any for sale as the adverts often include interior shots which might help. Even caravans from the same range for that year could give clues.
