Is it just me or was I lead to belive that the Olympic torch was to be carried around by the ordinary folk of this country, If thats the case why is it each time I open a newspaper do I see a "celebrity" with torch in hand I use the term "celebrity" loosley as the other day It was Jedward carrying it.

Know what you mean drsorento. In Warrington (day 12) there were eleven runners and two of these were from Brazil!! One was an employee of Samsung, who are no doubt paying for sponorship of some part of the Olympics. The other was former basketball star Oscar Schmidt. Oscar who I hear you saying, precisely!!
