Omega

Hello all.

Has anyone towed with a 3 litre Omega.

I have just bought an auto to tow my 1350Kg Fleetwood. Consumption is not a worry as I also tow the van with a Range Rover.

Regards

Steve

Although I've never owned a 3 litre Omega, I have towed my 1300kg caravan with one on several occasions and always found it very relaxing. The owner that I borrowed it from regularly towed 1800kg.

I have seen a lot being used as towcars and seem to be very good. However, curious as to why consumption does not worry you. Do you own an oil Company perhaps?

I changed my Omega for a Kia Sorento, because the fuel consumption was not very good. Turned out to be an expensive mistake, the Sorento is worse that ever.

If caravanners only tow limited mileages, the cost of fuel isn't significant - and compared to a Range Rover, everything else is frugal!

Thanks all for your responses.

The point about consumption was the fact that I do very little mileage towing (around 600miles per annum) and not that much during the week.

Thanks again

Steve
