He’s using a 3kw electric shower for continuous hot water! Only leaves 680 w for everything else but assumes he’s on 16 amp. Possibly could work well with a bit of discipline.

Linky no Worky :(

Thanks Alan,

Just tried it again, still No Worky

Don't know if the gremlin is at my end or somewhere else, anyone else finding it Worky or No Worky?

EDIT: I am getting "Content not found", not sure that that helps at all

3kW heating? he won't get much hot water with that, may be 1.5 t 2L a min ! and in all probability a tripped site bollard.

You can do this for a shower as long as you are careful with the other things, It would not keep going at that as once the tank is used the heater would not keep it hot.

Dustydog,

Does your link go to the 'Bailey Senator Caravan Owners Group'?

Is this the link you are suggesting: https://www.facebook.com/groups/161496827754337/?ref=group_header

P.S. I tried your link after removing the text in BLUE

The link doesn't work for me either. I'm not on Facebook, so may be that's the reason?

I cancelled my Facebook account very quickly when even my kids and grandkids didn’t want to be my friend.

OK Guy's all this leaky link'y stuff....

My latest trial is to place a suitable heater element in my Aquaroll to heat the water to just 30/35 deg C. That way all water will be at 30 Deg C and I guess I can shower twice as long. Anyway as with the Truma electric heater, if you run it without water, poof it will blow, so my latest attempt will have two thermocouples attached. one slightly removed from the actual heating element and another actually attached to it to measure the surface temp of the heater. So if the water runs out for any reason the surface temperature probe will sky rocket and the system will shot down saving my element till water returns otherwise the water will be kept at 30 deg C by the Watch this space!
