We have all seen the cash till in open all hours, well I have a similar problem. Removing the mains cable from the Blue connection in the battery box, a gentle pull and nothing happens, try harder and wiggle it a bit ,slight movement, just a bit harder and out it comes, at that moment the flap flips down, If that does not draw blood then skin is lost on the door of the battery box, it never fails. I keep a supply of plasters in with the battery,anyone have the same problem? is there any form of lubrication I could use? or should I install a blood transfusion kit.

Are you releasing the lid on the plug from the body of the socket? ours has a sort of lever/button bit you push in towards the body of the plug to do this.

Yes I am , indoing this is how the problems start. Blood and all the bits,But Rod one seems to have a good answer, Why did I not think of that.

But washing up liquid (a detergent)on the awning rail can remove the waterproofing of your awning and over time allow water through near the van!
