We'll taken the plunge on buying a swift , we are trading in our Bailey Wyoming - many advised against buying a Bailey at the time but it has been faultless , we just need a different layout that the Swift has.

Hopefully the swift will be reliable , we know it does not have the build quality of other makes but time will tell !

We have ordered a dealer special so not far off the wyoming spec.

Fingers crossed
Andy

Congratulations Andy, let us know how everything goes when you take delivery.
Swift offer a 10 year body shell integrity guarantee now which is a step in the right direction.

Just watch who you insure with because if the worst comes to the worst and you have a nasty accident and even if you have a new for old policy the insurance company insist on a major repair, swift unlike the likes of coachman, will not take the van back in to do the work and many workshops may not be as well equipped to replace a floor for example. As much an insurance heads up as anything!

Thanks , Never really thought about that , but hey life is too short , its got 10 years water ingress warranty and sometimes i think we lose sight that it is just somewhere to sleep whilst having a resonable priced holiday ( compared to other ways of spending a couple of weeks with my family in say spain )
Hopefully it will be as good as the Bailey was !!!!

Hi Andy.
Im sure you will be happy with your Swift Van we bought a Sterling last year and as far as build is concerned I have not managed to fault it.
We have had a couple of niggly things that have given small issues but these were parts that were supplied to Swifts who I believe have actually ditched the supplier of the niggling fault.
Enjoy your van

We picked up our new Fairway 636 on Saturday and are thrilled to bits with it. There is so much space inside it. We needed it with 3 growing children. You will love it I am sure.

Julian.

It's nice to see that in spite of the constant tales of doom and gloom on the news caravan sales are buoyant and happy caravanning to all those who have bought new caravans this year.

I will be picking the new van up in Feb , thinking about taking my trade in to the dealer before xmas - do you think that is safe to do so ? , my concern would be if the dealer went bust before i pick up the swift ( not likely but you never know )
This would save me storage and insurance for 3 months
