Outdoor Revolution Compactalite 400 awning

Anyone got one of these? What do you think of it? Seriously thinking of getting one instead of a "proper" awning for the new van. Its almost as big yet weighs far less & looks far quicker to put up. We only use the full awning for the summer hols so i'm thinking this would be perfect?

Yes we bought one a couple of months ago so much easier than a full awning,We keep a table and chairs in ours with room to spare.Make sure you get rock pegs if on hard ground pegs with awning are to thin and bend ,

We have had one for two years excellent provided the weather is calm. A bit flappy in a strong breeze or wind.

Anyone got experience of a P.A.C.K. 320 which looks a more substancial structure?

Well - We've just bought one! Put it up for the first time yesterday - took about an hour. There's lots of loose straps hanging at the bottom which I don't really know what to do with, and I don't really understand the black tensioning straps along the whole length and width of the awning. We've put all the guide lines out and every rubber ladder fastening has been pegged down, along with the awning skirt so we'll just see how it goes....hope it's not too windy!
