We have got a "peak" awning canvas (which the chap from glossop awnings said was the same as the outdoor revolurion one) and an outdoor revolution set of poles that came with it. These are the carbon fibre sort. No bad experiences. Good awning for the price, I thought. Never used it in really stormy conditions, but it has mangaged "ordinary" wind and rain.

hi
we have had ours for 2 years and are very happy with it, we are getting a tall annex to go with it soon to. the only problem we have had is with the fiber poles the roof ones slot in and twist to lock and we broke 2 in the first few weeks, got replacements and replaced them, since then we have broken another but it has not caused a problem at all.
we have had lots of coments on how good it looks and it does,

as weight is not a problem for us i wish i had gone for steel poles, but on the whole very happy with ours, would i buy another one

yes

Shouldn't have posted.! First outing this year the zip broke and a pole snapped. Like the poster above I wish I had gone for the steel poles. It was very windy and the carbon fibre really didn't have the weight to cope.
